Instructional League 1 (9/24-10/22)
Step onto the ice and learn the game with hands-on coaching and real match play. Designed specifically for beginners, this 5-week program balances focused skill-building with friendly, low-pressure games.

Dates: Thursdays: Sep 24, Oct 1, Oct 8, Oct 15, Oct 22

Time: 7:15 PM – 8:45 PM

Cost: $150 per person

Experience & Gear: No prior experience or equipment needed. (A previous Learn to Curl session is recommended, but not required.)
What to Expect

Weeks 1–4: Each 90-minute session features 30–60 minutes of targeted instruction—refining your delivery, sweeping technique, and shot strategy—followed by live-action mini-games.

Week 5: Put your new skills to the test in a full, 6-end regulation match.
Note: A minimum of 6 participants is required to run the league. Confirmation will be sent a few days prior to the start date.

About The Club
Roadrunner Curling Club is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the enjoyment and promotion of the sport of curling in central New Mexico. Our home is at the Outpost Ice Arenas in northeast Albuquerque, where we rent two sheets of ice for games and teaching. We typically curl there three times per week.
